Meet Lianne Kendall Perfect (she/her). Lianne is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of mental health and social justice. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (Honours) from Yorkville University, a Social Service Worker diploma (Honours) from Sheridan College, and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Thomas University with a focus in Psychology and Sociology.
Lianne has extensive experience supporting individuals in second-stage housing, the criminal justice system, and post-secondary environments. She specializes in trauma therapy, anxiety, depression, gender-based violence (including sexual and intimate partner violence), racial distress, and academic or workplace stress. She is also 2SLGBTQ allied and has supported individuals navigating immigration and acculturation challenges.
Working with clients aged 11 and up, Lianne uses a culturally responsive, trauma-informed lens that honours each person’s lived experience. Her therapeutic approach integrates several modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Narrative Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy.
