    Meet Bryony Pichette, Registered Social Worker at Alivia Solutions, a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping you on your healing journey. Bryony possesses over 10 years’ experience in community mental health and addictions services. Bryony holds a Master of Social Work degree, as well as a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Development Studies. Bryony supports individuals through a solution-focused, strengths-based approach to care, while utilizing components from a variety of therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing and mindfulness-based therapy.

    Bryony strives to create a safe non-judgmental space for healing and growth. She believes that each person is their own expert, and feels honoured to walk alongside individuals as they learn to harness their personal strengths to create meaningful change in their lives.

    After giving birth to her first child in March 2023, Bryony developed a special interest in perinatal mental health issues and decided to pursue professional development opportunities in this area. She completed a 32-hour Perinatal Mental Health training program through Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings (CPMHT). Bryony is deeply passionate about supporting individuals from the pregnancy to postpartum period around issues related to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, preparing for birth and the transition to parenthood. Bryony works with individuals 16+ years old, soon to be parents and new parents.
