Bonnie Grbic

Bonnie is a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years experience working in schools, and in the community. Bonnie holds a Masters in Social Work, a Bachelor degree in Social Work. She works with youth and adults and couples and is passionate about helping them grow and recognize the strength and resilience in themselves. Her approach is client centered, strengths based and trauma informed. She tailors therapy to meet the unique needs to each person she works with and draws from approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure therapy and Mindfulness Based therapy. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is more effective than the specific approach used. She aims to create a safe space so that clients feel empowered to step out of their comfort zone and try new things. This is where growth begins.

She supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, low self confidence and self esteem, and relationship challenges.

Bonnie works with individuals 11+ years of age, youth, adults and couples.
